Cherry started in 2019 as a Facebook page, sharing local skate clips and documenting the scene around us. What began as a small platform grew into something bigger—evolving into a skateboard brand that has produced decks, apparel, events, and creative projects rooted in the local skate community.
The following images capture what Cherry has become so far.
Cherry is a skateboard brand built as an extension of multiple disciplines, using movement, sound, and visuals to shape physical products. Created by skateboarder and multidisciplinary creative Njamu Koni, Cherry comes directly from lived experience. This is a brand built around skateboarding.
It’s built inside it. Skateboarding is more than a board—it’s culture, documentation, sound, texture, and perspective. Cherry translates those elements into skateboard equipment, apparel, and accessories, designed with the same care as a filmed line, a recorded sound, or a photographed moment. All products are designed in-house, guided by skating and creativity. Some are meant to be skated. Some are meant to be collected. You decide.
Cherry is for skaters and creatives who see skateboarding as a language, not just an activity. Independent, creator-led—everything comes from the same source. Cherry is skateboarding as art, process, and culture.
